Welcome To The Wellness Barn
The Wellness barn opened it's doors in Jan 2019 to provide a safe, calming space where you can meet all your well-being needs under one roof.We know how important it is to realise that nothing
needs to necessarily be 'wrong' in order for you to take care of your well-being. Instead we believe that good self care should just be a natural part of every day life. Inside the barn you will find everything that makes self care possible; from yoga classes, to talking therapies, holistic treatments,
workshops, retreats, events and corporate wellness packages.
We also understand that sometimes things do feel 'wrong.' Sometimes, the stress and the strain of every day life does get too much and we can experience dis-ease mentally, physically and emotionally, as we
fall out of balance. That is where our team of expert well-being practitioners come together to
create the best holistic care for you. We work as a team to ensure the best possible care is provided, focusing on you as a whole, not just on the presenting issue or the set of symptoms you experience, but on all areas of your wellness. We know this approach leads to deeper change
and healing, and our happy clients are testament to this.
So whether you are looking to invite self care into your regular routine, improve your over all sense of wellness, or if you are experiencing a particular emotional or physical concern, our aim is to carve a path with you and for you, to enable you to go on your own journey towards understanding yourself,
your body and most importantly to recognising your own ability to self soothe.
"Know your mind. Trust your body. Feel your Spirit."
At The Wellness Barn, we are very proud to be the first Apanaveda Yoga approved holistic centre. Apanaveda Yoga encapsulates our ethos as a company and flows through all that we do at the Barn.
Apanaveda’s yoga style is slow and intense, mindful and focused, underpinned with conscious breathing.
Practicing yoga with the mind, body and breath working together with equal focus will allow the students to ‘feel’ the essence of yoga properly and bring it off the mat and into their daily life.
The knowledge of ancient scripts and traditions deepens one’s spiritual practice, encourages respect for the origins and ethics of yoga and therefore enables one to practice with compassion, awareness and integrity.
